What this notice covers
This notice explains what personal information Lawrence College Ghora Gali collects through this website, why it is collected, how long it is kept and how to have it corrected or removed. It applies to lawrencecollege.edu.pk only; forms handed in at the college office are covered by the college’s own record-keeping policy.

The college does not sell personal information, does not share it with advertisers, and does not use it to build advertising profiles.
Photographs
Photographs sent with an alumni registration are published on this website only where the sender has ticked the consent box, and only after the registration has passed two separate reviews: an officer of Gallian Alumni checks it, and a representative of Lawrence College must then approve it. No single person can put an entry or a photograph on the website. Both names and the dates of both decisions are recorded, as is the consent itself.
Every photograph received is re-encoded on the college’s own server before storage, which removes the location data that cameras and telephones attach to image files. Photographs are stored on the college’s hosting, not on a third-party service.
Photographs of current students appear in news reports of college events. A parent who would prefer their son not to appear should write to the college; the photograph will be removed from the website.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a small number of preferences in your own browser, which never leave your device:
- Theme choice — whether you pressed the light or dark toggle.
- Cookie notice — so the notice is not shown again.
- Weather reading — the last forecast, cached for thirty minutes so the panel is not empty while a fresh one loads.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of them.
Who else is involved
Google reCAPTCHA. Every page of this site loads Google's reCAPTCHA v3, which watches how a visitor moves through the site in order to tell people apart from automated scripts. It is what stops the contact, visit, enquiry, application and alumni forms being used to send bulk rubbish to the college. Google receives your IP address and information about how you interact with this site, and may set cookies for the purpose. It is used here only for that check — the college does not use it for advertising, and reCAPTCHA is not used to build a profile of you. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern what they do with it.
A submission with no reCAPTCHA score is not refused. If you browse with JavaScript switched off, or block Google, your message still reaches the college — the forms were built to work that way and still do.
Three outside services are used, each for a single purpose:
- Open-Meteo — supplies the hilltop forecast. It receives the coordinates of Ghora Gali, not yours.
- Formspree — delivers contact and admission enquiries to the college inbox.
- Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn — embedded on the campus map and social pages. These set their own cookies when you interact with them; their policies apply.
Alumni registrations do not pass through any third party — they are stored on the college’s own server.
Your choices
You may ask to see what the college holds about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to info@lawrencecollege.edu.pk or telephone +92-51-3751001, and say which form your information came from. Requests are normally answered within thirty days.
For alumni entries, deletion removes both the record and the photograph, and the published list is regenerated without it.
